Injector Angle

Correct Angle

Correct injector alignment aims fuel directly at the intake valve. The fuel vaporizes when it makes contact with the hot valve, delivering the entire finely atomized fuel load into the cylinder.

Incorrect Angle

Incorrect injector alignment delivers the fuel directly against the intake port wall. The fuel particles combine, puddle, and adhere to the wall. The fuel enters the cylinder as it drips off of the wall which causes a poorly atomized fuel mixture, as well as inconsistant and poor combustion.
