Q: Where are you located?
A: We are located in Lititz, PA, just a few miles from LANCO.
Q: Do you have a store?
A: We are currently working on an online store for your convenience, at this time we are taking orders over the phone.
Q: How can I meet with a member of the Guhl Motors team face to face?
A: During the racing season we will be visiting various tracks on a weekly basis to support our customers. We can set up a meeting at the track or appointments are available for private meetings. Please contact guhlmotors@guhlmotors.com with appointment requests.
Q: Is it possible to buy a product directly from Guhl Motors?
A: Yes, it is, but since we aren't set up for online ordering at this time, it may be easier to purchase through one of our distributors.

Q: Where can I buy this product?
A: You can buy it directly from us, or choose from one of our distributors.
Q: What is the thermostat temperature?
A: The temperature range is between 125 and 135 degrees F depending on the application.
Q: What kind of thermostat do you use?
A: We use a custom bypassing thermostat with the capability to open one port and close another port which diverts the fluid appropriately based on temperature.
Q: Is this product available in other temperature ranges?
A: No, not at this time.
Q: My temperature sensor is in the radiator. Will this change my temperature readout?
A: Yes, the coolant will only flow through the radiator as needed. Generally the radiator will be much cooler than the engine. For accurate temperature readings the sensor must be relocated between the cylinder head water outlet and the thermostat. This location will provide the actual coolant temperature.
Q: The bypass line seems awfully big. Does this need to be restricted for proper cooling?
A: No. The thermostat diverts coolant flow to the radiator or back into the engine based on temperature. Do NOT restrict the bypass hose or engine damage will occur.

Q: Will you convert my injectors for me?
A: Yes, we offer that service for an additional charge.
Q: Will you dyno tune my system for me?
A: Yes, Guhl Motors will tune your system for an additional charge.
Q: Can I buy the fuel rail by itself and use it with the injectors that I already have?
A: Our fuel rail is specifically designed to be used with the new, high tech injectors that come in our kit. Other injectors will not fit nor will they give the proper spray pattern or injector angle that is crucial for optimum performance.
Q: Can I buy the injectors by themselves and use them with the fuel rail that I already have?
A: While our injectors are sold separately as well (for replacement purposes), our fuel rail is specifically designed to be used with our injectors. They will not fit in other fuel rails nor will they give the proper spray pattern or injector angle that is so crucial for performance.
Q: Can I get the kit before being anodized to save money?
A: All of our kits are anodized before being finished to avoid corrosion of the system due to alcohol exposure.
Q: Can I use my current fuel injection regulator with your system?
A: Other regulators may be used, but we recommend that the Aeromotive 13109 regulator. Please check with Tech Support before using your regulator with our system to ensure compatibility.
Q: Can I use my current fuel injection fuel pump with your system?
A: The Aeromotive pumps may work with our system, the Mallory pumps will not. We recommend and carry a special Walbro pump. Please check with Tech Support before using any other fuel pump with our system to ensure compatibility.
Q: Can I use my current fuel filters off of my injection system?
A: Your current fuel filters may be compatible with our system. The important thing to remember is that right before the injectors a 25 - 45 micron filter should be used. If you have any questions about compatibility, please contact Tech Support.
Q: Do I need a Power Commander to run your system?
A: Although the system could be configured for wide open throttle performance without the Power Commander, idle quality and throttle response will not be optimized. The Power Commander allows us to adjust air/fuel throughout the entire RPM range. We highly recommend the use of the Power Commander.

Q: Can I buy these parts separately?
A: Yes, you may. However, the assembly is not a standard size and our parts won't fit most other airbox assemblies.
Q: Will this part fit on my car without modification since its so big?
A: We have successfully installed this airbox on RTS and Probe cars without modification. Measurements will be posted shortly. Please ensure that this unit will fit on your car prior to purchase.
Q: Can I use this assembly with my current fuel injection system?
A: We have only had success fitting this airbox on the stock fuel injection system and our system due to its large size. It is specifically designed to fit our ergonomically designed alcohol fuel injection conversion kit.
Q: Are replacement filters available?
A: Yes, they are commercially available.
