I spent 23 years in manufacturing, first as production manager and finally as general manager of a 100-employee operation. My duties included purchasing, planning, R&D, cost analysis, quality control, pricing, sales, and customer service, as well as overall management of the entire operation. I have also worked as a purchasing agent for a trailer manufacturing company and an architectural hardware manufacturer, done inside and outside sales, office and manufacturing systems consulting work, and customer service. |
| Personal Accomplishments: |
I owned a number of race cars and teams, serving as mechanic, crew chief, coach, fund-raiser, referee, and chief cook and bottle washer. I also drove for one season, with pretty dismal results. I’m better behind the scenes!
